The team at IMETA has the capability, resources and passion to provide the highest quality maritime education and training for various merchant marine courses as legislated by the International Maritime Organisation and beyond.
A young organisation, with very highly experienced master mariners at the helm, IMETA envisions bringing quality training programmes to the world’s maritime industry. With years of training and education as well as professional maritime experience, our lecturers and instructors provide committed and quality training to maritime personnel of all ranks.
IMETA is currently, in partnership with New Zealand Maritime School, offering pre-sea training programmes leading to Certificate of Competency Class 3 Deck (for students with A-level or equivalent) and Marine Engineer Class 3 CoC (a marine conversion programme for holders of Bachelor/Diploma of Engineering candidates). These programmes are fully approved and accredited by Maritime New Zealand (a Crown Entity of New Zealand responsible for maritime certification).

- Sailors Maritime Education and Training Institute, Vizianagaram (Andhra Pradesh, India)
- Barter International Maritime Studies, Bangkok, Thailand
